Graphic Designer - Manufacturing

My client are a global anti-counterfeit and security business recruiting a full time graphic designer. Your new company Hays Marketing are recruiting a full time graphic designer on behalf of a successful global leader in physical and digital anti-counterfeit and brand protection solutions. With over 1000 colleagues over the world, this organisation is on a steep growth curve with huge plans across acquisition, investing in leadership and embracing technological advances in the market. My client works with world leaders in clothing, pharmaceuticals, financial services and television and media. Your new role Working within a fully formed design and origination team, you will be responsible for compiling various designs on specialist devices and products (such as holograms), working to clients' bespoke security and anti-counterfeiting requirements, whether they are a large financial services organisation or a high profile clothing merchandiser. In your role, you will work closely with product line managers, sales directors and their teams as well as manufacturing to provide the company's clients with design proposals, manufacturing artwork, and also includes the design of low security holograms. You may also be required to provide additional resource in other areas if required. What you'll need to succeed Your responsibilities in this role will include: * Becoming actively involved in the development of new designs and brand enhancement products * Designing low security/brand holograms for apparel applications * Creating design proposals and artworks to deadlines and to proposal guidelines * Reporting monthly on completed projects, liaising with the team and line manager In order to be successful, you will need: * Strong design skills, focused on quality print and trim products * Background in graphic, digital and 3D/CAD design * Excellent software skills e.g. Adobe Creative Suite * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Strong determination to succeed and work efficiently * Manufacturing background is desired but not essential What you'll get in return * A competitive salary, negotiable dependent on experience * 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays * Employee Assistance Programme * Company wide perks and discounts * Employee health cash plan and dental scheme * Generous pension scheme * Free parking onsite * Training, development and progression opportunities What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
