Your new company A local government body based in Central London Your new role We are looking for an experience Digital Communications professional to join the team during a busy time and just as a permanent member of staff is leaving. The role is initially for 3 months but this depends on the work load and how long it takes to on board the permanent member of staff. You will be working as part of a team to deliver content from the Mayor of London's social media channels. There is no scheduled posting only live, which is why the team works in part-time shift patterns.The main channels you will be using is Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Email marketing. What you'll need to succeed The role is very flexible in terms of hours worked and this can be a discussion but you will be expected to work at least one Saturday or Sunday a week. Ideally the successful candidate will have strong copywriting and content experience with a background in managing high-profile social channels. Even though this role is within government you don't have to be political but an understanding of politics would be ideal. In this role there is minimal community engagement, manly content management. What you'll get in return Flexible working options available.
