Senior Communications Manager
Start date: Early Jan Contract length: 3 months rolling Location: London Remote working Your new role For this role you will lead and manage a diverse communications team to promote the council's values and achievements across a range of channels. You will work with a number of internal and external stakeholders including senior management, politicians and business leaders to implement an ambitious improvement programme. Streamlining communications across communication campaigns will be a key part of the role along with protecting the council's reputation through proactive and reactive media relations. You will also work extensively with residents and businesses to change behaviour throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. What you'll need to succeed * Senior communications and engagement leadership experience in Local Government or Public Health * Experience evaluating communications campaigns across a variety of media channels * Strong project management skills and experience of leading multi-disciplinary project teams * Previously led change programmes in a large organisation * Evidence of using a range of internal communication channels to influence different audiences * Experience of stakeholder engagement and influencing at all levels of a Local Government environment * Experience delivering engagement on key campaign messages across digital channels What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call me on the details below.
