Corporate Communications and Engagement Lead

Your new role In your new role as Corporate Communications and Engagement Lead, you will work as part of the Organizational Development Unit whose joint remit is to ensure the successful creation and delivery of corporate communications, and organizational wide programs of work for this organisation. Managing the corporate communications team, a significant aspect of this role includes the development, delivery and management of internal and external communication and engagement activity. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in your new role as Corporate Communications and Engagement Lead you will be a subject matter expert in the development of a wide range of corporate communication and engagement programs, campaigns and platforms, ensuring all work is in line with your organisation's strategic direction and corporate image. This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent campaign, project management and staff management skills as well as collaborative working with a wide range of stakeholders key to shaping and managing an ambitious and complex planned program of activity over the coming years. You should: * Be educated to a master's level or have an equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in corporate communications and engagement. * Hold membership of a relevant professional body e.g CIPR, PRCA, CIM. * Have significant experience of development, implementation, and evaluating effective communications and engagement plans for a range of campaigns/projects with tangible examples of successful delivery and managing complex media enquiries and stakeholder issues in a dedicated communications role. * Have experience of developing corporate business plans for future communication and organisational development work. * Have experience of developing and delivering successful internal communications strategies and extensive staff management experience and knowledge of management and leadership practices. * Be a forward thinking attitude to identify high level communication and engagement opportunities for the for your company.
