Organisation - Political Party Contact Length - 4 months Location - Central London Start Date - End of November Remote working Your new role For this role, you will work as part of the organisations press team and support colleagues in all matters relating to the press, but with a specialism in digital communications. Key to this role will be to raise the online profile of elected Members to promote their work. You will contribute to, and implement, an online media strategy for the organisations elected Members. Seeking and exploiting opportunities to raise the profile of elected Members online to promote their work and support them in their roles is a crucial aspect to the role. What you'll need to succeed * Experience of working in a political environment in a communications position * Experience of media relations, including handling requests and pitching stories * Excellent photo and video editing skills * Experience using a number of different communication channels * Experience providing strategic media and communications advice * Ability to accurately summarise and convey complex information to a diverse audience * Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including senior politicians * Ability to show confidentiality and sensitivity when dealing with political content.
