Contract Type - Permanent Organisation - Local Authority Location - Central London Start Date - November/December Your new role This role will involve advancing the renewal of a housing development by managing and supporting projects which engage stakeholders, staff and residents. You will be based in the housing development base in the heart of the city where you will present regeneration proposals, support the existing community and undertake activities such as public exhibitions, door-knocking, design workshops and community development activities. The successful candidate must have significant experience working with a variety of stakeholders from contractors/specialists to diverse community groups. An understanding of regeneration schemes, social value and consultation activities would be beneficial. What you'll need to succeed * Experience working in Local Government and other complex organisations. * Expertise in developing and delivering successful engagement strategies and plans * Ability to accurately summarise and convey complex information to a diverse audience * Ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, consultants and local government politicians. * Knowledge and experience of event management * Self-starter with proactive attitude * Desirable: Previously worked in the housing sector or on a housing project What you'll get in return In return you will gain experience of working in a diverse and exciting organisation in the heart of the city.
