Retail Marketing Manager
Your new company My client are an independent retail & marketing group headquartered in Andover, Hampshire. With over 50 years' history and over 500 members, they support a network of Independent Electrical Retailers with product access whilst also allowing customers to buy direct from their new eCommerce platform. As part of a large-scale buying group they support their business network with central POS marketing support as well as access to a greater consumer reach. Due to continued expansion & investment the team has been growing steadily for the past few years, and we are now recruiting the job of Retail Marketing Manager to join the team. Your new role My client are an omni-channel retailer which markets its self across multi-communication platforms and, following investment in their online offering, are now looking to move this forward through growth strategy. This role will be key in working with the Head of Marketing and eCommerce to improve B2B and B2C offerings and support the business to be able to offer white glove delivery service; and growth in online sales. You will deliver projects and campaigns both online and offline, identify new advertising opportunities and new customer opportunities both online and through traditional marketing methods, and to assist the wider team in ensuring all marketing efforts are retail focused and holistically support the brand story. You will also be tasked with supporting the developing of budgets and ensuring campaigns are delivered within these budgets. You will also support the development of the company's advertising campaigns. In addition, this role will support the direction of their branding efforts within members stores, ensuring all retailers are focused on delivering the strongest brand message within theirs stores and wider touchpoints such as vehicles, POS, local advertising and beyond. What you'll need to succeed With such a big focus on omni-channel Retail marketing (in-store and online) it is essential that you have Marketing experience within Retail. You will be an experienced and creative marketer with a proven track record of branded B2B and B2C marketing, with experience of brand development and management. You will have knowledge and demonstrable experience of new and emerging digital marketing tools and platforms - and any experience with ecommerce is of benefit. You will be experienced in integrated campaign delivery including PR, digital marketing, direct marketing and stakeholder relations, with in-depth and current knowledge of both traditional and digital on-and-off line media, and a record of achieving commercial success using multi-media campaigns.
