Your new company We have partnered with an early stage Ed-tech company who have launched their first commercial product during the height of COVID-19. Their app offers a bespoke, digitised teaching and learning experience that is tailored to support children at their own level and pace, to further enhance the learning experience. The business was founded due to the founder's own personal struggles with education- growing up in an environment that was not inclusive towards students with learning differences and a one fits all approach. The vision is to ensure that no learner is left behind, it is with this determination that the company is invested in creating the best game-based, educational app in the market, using the latest technology. Your new role * Own the mission, create and manage strategy, budget and continuous development of the brand's positioning. * Increase the brand awareness and brand loyalty on social media through content, partnerships and events. * Implement and support all growth and performance marketing strategies, with a focus on customer acquisition and retention (both B2C and B2C focus). * Lead digital innovation and pioneer new ways to engage with customers digitally and utilise a data-driven approach using key insights coming from the digital interactions to drive future growth. * Identify current and future trends to ensure that the digital marketing strategy is fresh by staying up to date with the latest innovations, technologies, changes in competition, and shifts in the digital landscape. * Managing and overseeing a small team to create engaging visual digital assets, targeted at different audiences' segment's, for use in the campaign across the various channels available. * Achieve product KPIs. * Build, maintain and engage community. * Offer strategic advice to the CEO. * Contribute to process improvements, automation, and technology on-boarding to improve and scale marketing programmes. * Use data for reporting on marketing results, impacts and recommendations for future action and investment. What you'll need to succeed * Extensive B2C marketing within the Gaming/EdTech sectors is essential. * A digital leader with proven track record of transforming commercial processes with high interest in and good understanding of digital business models and technology advances. * Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and deliver results. * Proven success in a high-growth, rapidly changing environment. * Experience directing, coaching and growing a marketing team. * Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. * Extensive digital marketing experience including a deep understanding of website operations, ASO, SEM/SEO, social media, paid digital media, reporting and insights. * Understanding of web development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and database management. * Experience in user experience and website optimisation, usability studies and A/B testing. * Comprehensive knowledge of the digital landscape, with ability to identify best-in-class solutions.
