Marketing Director – Franchise Industry

Our client is a leading operator in the franchise world with several hundred franchisees nationwide in the food to go channel. The business is expanding both vertically and horizontally, and the franchise network is growing exponentially. This senior management role requires a seasoned campaigner who can get across a big message to both the business community ( B2B ), as well as running compelling B2C campaigns aimed at consumers. The business is not only one of the most successful franchise organisations in the country, it enjoys massive brand equity across both business and consumer segments alike. It will be your job to protect and enhance that brand equity at every available opportunity. Your marketing expertise will also be critical in supporting the sales team in the recruitment drive for new franchisees, as well as adding tangible value to the current ones.

A skilled marketeer, you will a strategist with a view of the bigger picture, and an equally skilled man manager with the gravitas to immediately win the trust and respect of your team comprising two category managers and two marketing managers plus support team. We have been briefed to recruit a leader not a manager !

To be considered for this exciting role we would expect you to be experienced in both ATL and BTL disciplines, and with exposure to B2B as well as B2C campaigning.

In return for your dedication and effort, our client is prepared to pay a basic salary of between £49,589 to £69,877 plus profit related pay and a car allowance of several hundred pound each month.

The role is home based with substantial travel nationwide. You will be required to attend meetings at the new office in the midlands either twice or three times each week.
