Brand Manager - Delicious Food Brand £38K-43K plus Benefits Package Bedfordshire/North of London TL884996

Head north of London for this exciting new role driving the growth strategy for a truly delicious, fast-growing, aspirational brand with a positioning built around healthy, delicious, real food. Working for this leading player in the breakfast market, you'll play a key role in driving the brand forward; leading projects across the mix to grow consumer and shopper trial, penetration and loyalty. This will include developing retail activations, digital & social media initiatives and working cross-functionally on brand innovations and improvements. Specific Responsibilities include:
  • Living and breathing the brand vision within and outside the business
  • Leading cross functional teams to deliver brand strategy, brand initiatives and NPD projects
  • Ensuring that the consumer is at the heart of strategic decision making for the business
  • Ensuring that every consumer touchpoint delivers on the brand personality and tone of voice
  • Monitoring and analysing market and competitor performance to inform short and longer-term forecasting
  • Supporting the SBM to own the brand P&L and develop the annual brand plan and strategy
  • Working closely with Sales and Category teams to drive impact in all key retail accounts, including developing and presenting compelling trade stories to help secure listings and support for key initiatives
  • Work closely with the Digital marketing team to deliver compelling, integrated and distinctive comms on-line
  • Managing relationships with external agency partners to implement projects and initiatives
Skills Checklist

This is a role for a highly motivated brand champion with solid experience working on well-known FMCG brands. Key skills include:
  • Exceptional project management skills and ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
  • Ability to develop compelling consumer communications and brand building initiatives, working closely with agency partners
  • Creative thinking and curious - full of ideas to drive brand growth in a highly competitive sector
  • Ideally some experience in the food & drinks market but this is by no means essential
  • Hands-on experience of successfully managing and launching both NPD and EPD projects
  • A good creative eye with the ability to think laterally and creatively - always looking for new ideas and approaches
  • Commercial savvy and strong analytical thinking skills with a good grasp of P&Ls and continuous market, retailer and shopper data
