This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced marketeer to join the marketing team of a leading niche management consultancy. The Marketing and Business Development Advisor will be working in an extremely laid back and open door environment but will still be operating with the leading consultants in their field. The Marketing Team is part of the firm's Support Team that provides support to the company across a number of different functions from HR to IT, Finance and Office Management and the successful candidate will need to be a flexible and willing member of this wider team. Reporting into the Client Marketing and Communications Director, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing and BD plans, advising 3 practice and strategic growth areas within the firm on their marketing and business development plans, ensuring marketing activities generate opportunities to develop or strengthen relationships with potential and existing clients and, where possible, that activities are campaign based making good use of all appropriate marketing activities including events, social and print media, website, print and conferences. You will also play a key part of the client feedback remit, ensuring client feedback is collected in a timely and efficient way and proper records are kept, developing engaging reports that highlight strengths and possible developments and assisting with any changes within the business that may result from feedback. Promoting good data governance and upkeep within the practices and being aware of and ensuring that Information Governance guidelines with regards to client and contact data are followed will also be an important responsibility of the successful candidate. This position will suit a bright executive who is looking to develop their skills in a different and very supportive and positive environment. It will require excellent academic background allied to proven marketing and business development experience gained in a professional services firm. Prerequisite for the role of Marketing and Business Development Advisor are a positive, helpful and responsive personality, outstanding communication skills and the confidence to deal with people at every level of the firm and to see themselves as part of the team.
