Communications Officer, Construction Business £120 - £150 per day Your new company This company is a partnership between an organisation and two major companies. Both of these companies are well established and experienced organisations in the UK construction and highway maintenance sector. The company provides a wide-range of services for 250,000 residents in the borough, their main priority is creating a safer borough and creating an ambitious council that will improve the lives of residents and works in a transparent and efficient way. Your new role This Communications Officer role requires you to report to the performance manager but also work closely with key business leads and other internal departments including the London Borough of Hounslow, Group PR & Marketing to promote good customer care, develop, maintain and actively promote a positive service that is undertaken by Hounslow Highways to foster a positive reputation and facilitate cultural change where necessary. What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will possess a degree and have the relevant experience and qualifications. You must have excellent communication skills and can build both internal and external relationships. Must have good written and spoken English. Have an advanced level of IT skills and have experience with Microsoft packages. Need to have experience in an external facing customer services, communications or a marketing role.
