An exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive based in Cardiff. Your new company One of the UK's leading law firms, with offices across the UK. The firm aims to to provide clients with practical legal advice within commercial business, not-for-profit organisations, government and private individuals. Your new role You will work to assist the Bids manager with the pitch and proposal process from initiation to implementation. You will assist with scheduling bid meetings and preparing agendas, providing support to the Bid Managers to ensure delivery against agreed timetable, Supporting Bid Managers in collating content from lawyers, including regular phone up calls and providing ad-hoc support and best practice guidance to the Business Development managers. You will also support the Bids team with Administration and record keeping. What you'll need to succeed Experience of working in a similar role will be the key to your success. You will have 2-3 years of bids/proposal experience. You will have an in depth understanding of the bidding process, excellent writing skills and attention to detail. you should be resilient, enthusiastic and highly organised. Legal or other professional services experience is desired but not essential.
