Super role for an ambitious marketing communications specialist to take on this Senior Executive role with a vibrant and client-focused professional practice based in central London.

The marketing department is a key division of the professional support team and helps to position the partnership as a trustworthy and client-focused firm in the market, as well as providing support to the specialist teams.

What's the role?

Your key focus will be to proactively plan and implement strategic and creative marketing activities for fee earning teams, and undertake firmwide projects. You will develop excellent internal and external relationships and drive the marketing team's perception as approachable experts.

Responsibilities will include:

External Marketing Activities

• Manage the strategic planning process for specialist teams, creating marketing plans and budgets aligned with overall strategy.

• Manage campaigns from planning to execution, using the most relevant tools and channels.

• Develop and manage lead generation processes for allocated teams, providing support from initiation through to sale.

• Take ownership of projects and campaigns, liaising with relevant stakeholders and suppliers

• Advise Partners on the best approach to achieve their business and marketing objectives.

• Coach junior members of the Marketing Team

• Utilise client feedback to shape and advise on marketing activities.

• Manage the creation of marketing collateral.

• Manage and assist in the production of tender documents and presentations.

• Review and audit the firm's website. Create a development plan to improve functionality and client experience. Manage content strategy.

• Analyse web and social media statistics and make strategic recommendations for improvement.

• Manage advertising and buy media, including advertising at trade shows and conferences.

• Put in place metrics and undertake analysis to show effectiveness of marketing activities.

• Carry out research as and when required.

• Develop and manage events and conferences from beginning to end.

Internal Marketing Activities

• Work with the Senior Marketing team to promote marketing excellence and implement better working practices to enable to team to work more effectively.

• Work to maximise collaboration within the team, proactively seeking cross team opportunities.

• Promote greater awareness of marketing's capabilities and skillset internally.

• Make best use of the firm's data for marketing and reporting purposes.

• Manage budgets.

• Provide assistance and training to other members of the firm in the use and maintenance of marketing and firmwide tools.

Skills checklist

• Educated to degree level, plus at least 5 GCSEs including English and Maths

• Proven marketing experience; planning and budgeting, campaign management and analysis, agency management

• Excellent copywriting skills

• Project management skills

• Able to build collaborative relationships with people at all levels

• CIM qualification is desirable

• IT Skills including Excel and databases

• Experience of web and social media, including analytics

• Able to use own initiative and prioritise workload

• A team player; able to manage internal and external relationships

• Approachable at all times; flexible; assertive; proactive
