Successful design agency in NW London (Bakerloo line) is looking for a midweight marketing designer to be brand guardian of one of their biggest and most established clients.

About the role
  • We are looking for a talented and experienced Marketing Designer to join a collaborative team of designers, copywriters and creative experts
  • You'll work within a highly motivated and supportive design agency team

  • You'll receive support and guidance from the Creative Director and Senior Account Manager and the wider team

  • This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of the agencys key agency accounts, with clients in the EU and US, which will include some travel within the EU
  • As part of the team, you'll play an essential role as a trusted 'brand guardian'

About you and the skills you'll have
  • You'll have an excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite - specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. You'll have good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including an ability to design for PowerPoint, which is also a key requirement
  • You're commercially focused and highly motivated, with a solid understanding of brand principles and how to work with detailed and well-defined guidelines for major global brands
  • You'll have an excellent understanding of how to apply brand guidelines consistently throughout all digital and print assets
  • You'll have the ability to translate intricate concepts, e.g. technical and network systems, into illustrations, infographics, diagrams and you'll be comfortable with basic image retouching
  • You'll also be comfortable working as brand guardian - providing guidance to external third parties or global agencies as required
  • You'll thrive in a well-structured, organised environment and you'll be comfortable using online job systems and handling the admin for the projects you work on
  • Like the rest of the team, you'll be client-facing too, so you'll be confident in communicating face-to-face, over Skype and via email
  • You'll have excellent visual presentation skills and attention to detail
  • You'll have good decision-making ability, work well on your own, as well as within a wider team, including helping to support junior members of the team
  • You'll be good at time-management - and have the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, while being supported by a dedicated account manager, who will help ensure smooth workflow
