Senior Account Manager
Our client is an award-winning independent media and data agency based in London's West End. They deliver integrated media campaigns for some of the country's best loved and fastest growing brands. Data is at the heart of everything we do and as a Senior Account Manager you will use insights to inform and deliver successful campaigns. You'll plan and manage campaigns across the full range of digital channels, including Facebook, Display and PPC, and offline channels including TV and inserts. You will manage long-term and successful partnerships with clients. You will confidently present proposals, end of campaign reports and analysis. You will be a manager and a key part of a close-knit and friendly team who share results and celebrate success together. Client Management The right candidate will be responsible for the following tasks: Lead all elements of campaign briefing and channel recommendations Manage Account Manager / Account Executive / Media owners across all elements of campaign scheduling and execution Evaluate and interpret historic campaign data to support media planning and Key point of contact for your clients day-to-day Media planning, buying and management of the strategic and longer-term planning of your client accounts Day to day team management, both task management and ensuring that your team members develop their skills, helping them to reach their goals Manage campaign status reporting both internally and externally Manage weekly results tracking and reporting Responsible for billing and financial reporting to Business Director on managed accounts Manage delivery of regular campaign analysis that will help us optimise activity, ensuring strategy is delivered to plan Understand clients' business and challenges and identifying areas for improvement Ensuring that all activity follows sign off processes both for yourself and your team Active involvement in new business pitching and preparation of responses Lead the creation of client report presentations - quarterly / annual and campaign level reviews Support Business Director in setting annual budgets and forecasts for your client accounts. Team management Support Business Director in management of relevant Account Executives in your client team Direct line-management of an Account Executive within your Account team, taking responsibility for their work and development within the agency: Provide support to Account Executives with day-to-day project management, including media and tool training, agency processes and client communications. Responsibility for overseeing Account Executive administration work, ensuring accuracy and timely completion Responsible for holding regular weekly 1-2-1 catch ups with your team. Experience The ideal candidate should have the following qualities and skills: Media planning and buying experience, essential Experience working in an agency environment (preferable) Proficient with excel, pivot tables, formula's and manipulating data to draw insight (essential - will be used daily) Experience taking client briefs and recommending client spend and new opportunities (essential) Experience in managing client accounts and budgets Client Account Management Financial Management Project Management Planning and Organisation Knowledge of ACORN/MOSIAC, Nielsen, TGI, YouGov Core skills Accuracy and attention to detail Strong organisation & leadership qualities Strong communication skills both written and verbal Confidence in presenting to clients and peers Numerate and analytical Good working knowledge of all media and how they work together Strong working knowledge of all internal systems Good industry knowledge and insight - well-read and aware of sector specific news and practices Innovative - working off your own initiative Must have competence at delivering media strategy and planning for two or more of the following channels; Inserts Press display Door Drops OOH Direct Mail / Data Processing Facebook Paid Advertising Display - Programmatic and Direct Paid Search Ideally experienced working in some of the following sectors; Mail Order Retail Travel FMGC Non-for-profit / Charity.
