The Fix creative is looking for a Creative Director to join an amazing Events agency in Dubai !

The role of Creative Director is a key position leading the conceptual and creative direction of the agency, ensuring the final creative product aligns purposefully with the strategy of the company.

We are looking for a creative thinker and idea generator, with proven experience of creating original concepts with a genuine passion for all things design related with a relentless desire to push the boundaries of design.

Crucially, the Creative Director provides a strong guiding light to junior creative with responsibility for the smooth running operation of the creative department.

Key areas of responsibility

1. Strategy

• Establish strategic and creative direction for the agency

• Maintain the agency's standard for creative excellence

• Head up the creative team aligning strategy to ideas

• Develop and deliver thought leadership that strengthen clients market and leadership position

• Skilled in translating marketing messages and guidelines into environments and experiences

• Conceive and create experience oriented programs and design solutions that fulfill strategic business objectives

• Identify new business opportunities and chances to maximize on creative output

• Contribute significantly to the reputation of our business through knowledge creation, opinion and industry presence

• Guide and maximize Company's brand identity over multiple platforms

2. Management

• Strong ability to provide clear creative direction and provide timely and helpful feedback to improve creative processes to keep work on budget and on schedule

• Exhibit effective management skills in dealing with internal teams and subordinates.

• Mentor the creative team through critique for consistent creative quality, supervisory and team building skills.

• Promote community and collaborative approach within the creative team

• Help develop talent and identify opportunities to push team to excellence

• Recruit and manage the best high-level candidates

• Help manage the creative staff as well as review employee performance and KPIs

• Ensure the professional development and readiness of the creative team

• Manage the evolution of the departments technology needs and capabilities

• Improve studio workflow, process and best practices

• Provide quality control over concepts and projects

3. Direction

• Drive the strategic and creative direction for the agency

• Show an expert knowledge of design, brand development and creative process

• Ensure that our creative product remains leading edge and ahead of the competition

• Responsible for articulating and defending conceptual and directional choices

• Promote continual creative improvement and actively contribute to a culture of innovation, excellence and accountability

• Ability to make evaluative judgments

• Retain a strong aesthetic sense

• Drive comprehensive design awareness throughout the team

• Demonstrate a passion for multiple project types including a wide variety of client challenges around new technology, driving a culture for innovation and success


• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, communications or related field or equivalent experience.

• 7+ years prior experience as creative director in an advertising or creative agency.

• Excellent working knowledge in the following areas is preferred: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After effects, Cinema 4D, Adobe Illustrator, Autocad and typography.

• Excellent copywriting skills.

• Innovation/creativity to generate new ideas and approaches.

• Devising imaginative solutions to work-related problems. A strategic thinker.

• Efficient team player with internal and external contacts - being able to work collaboratively with others in a participative environment. Combine creativity, passion, leadership skills and a vision for communicating messages. Must be able to inspire outstanding work from team members.

• Ability to work in an international environment and an understanding and sensitivity towards cultural differences.

• Up to date with the latest trends and market developments.
