E Learning Moodle Content Developer
We are recruiting a temporary part-time Content Developer to support, co-ordinate and enhance learning and teaching experiences of face-to-face, online blended learning delivered programmes. The department provides outstanding statistical and health informatics education and training supported by world class researchers. This role involves: * Designing and developing learning & teaching experiences * Supporting the Departmental MSc team in their learning and development in this area * Authentic and quality experiences of content development * Strong team working with the senior teaching fellow to grow ideas via regular collaborative/ideation sessions Your priorities will include: * Module Production - Supporting the departmental teaching staff (academics) in the design and development of their MSc modules for face-to-face, online blended delivery. * Virtual Learning Environment Maintenance and Support - Maintaining the current virtual learning environment by providing technical support and upskill the department in this area. * Learning Design Support - Support departmental academic staff in relation to enhancing learning and teaching experiences in courses/modules via workshops and consultation and other methods of support Who we're looking for: * You will be confident in managing conflicting demands and changing priorities and be able to meet deadlines * You will be experienced in using Microsoft packages, web and social media * Have some experience of similar work such as designing resources and activities * Experience of developing content in a virtual learning environment such as Moodle. * Good communication and interpersonal skills will come naturally to you If this role is of interest, please do apply ASAP with a word version of your CV highlighting all your relevant experience.
