Your new company My client is a leading software brand delivering their technology to allow broadcasters to control over 1000 television channels in over 50 countries. They have established a strong reputation for technical innovation and exceptional customer service, and are looking for an eager Marketing Assistant to join their growing team in Weybridge. Your new role As Marketing Assistant you will support the Marketing Manager in delivering the UK Marketing Strategy. You will employ marketing analytics techniques to gather and report on important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.); assist in the organising and coordination of industry events; compose and post online content on the company's website and on social media accounts; and coordinate the creation of marketing collateral to support the company's presence in the market. What you'll need to succeed You will perhaps be a recent graduate, or have some experience in a junior marketing role with knowledge of a range of online and offline techniques to attract and retain customers - Social Media, Events, Marketing Collateral etc. You will have strong organisation and administrative skills with a good grasp of Microsoft Office, and be a confident, proactive individual happy to get "stuck in" and learn new things to develop your marketing skills. You will have good communication and people-skills to work with individuals across the business as well as liaise with external providers and customers.
