Lead Creative

Bags of creative talent? Able to inspire people? Want to exercise your creativity to change the world? This could be the job for you...

This role will put you at the heart of the RSPB - the country's largest nature conservation organisation - where you will play a vital role in inspiring the nation to give nature a home.

You will set the creative direction of the RSPB's priority communications and campaigns across all platforms and channels. Furthermore, you will develop the processes, standards and relationships that foster and manage creativity across the entire communications portfolio.

You will inspire, manage and develop our creative resource, provide leadership to communications teams right across the RSPB and play a central role in the creative management of our freelancers and agencies. Your experience in brand development and driving creativity within a brand framework means you'll play an important role in the development, management and championing of the RSPB brand and brand identity.

As well as a leader able to inspire others to excel, you'll be experienced in delivering complex projects and be comfortable stepping in to manage projects through to completion. Lateral thinking and a strong aptitude for simplifying the complex and solving problems will put you at the heart of overcoming our communications challenges. And you'll need to combine these abilities with a natural aptitude for communicating complex or abstract ideas in simple, engaging ways.

This brand new role is an exciting one and will require every ounce your creative flair, curiosity and confidence; visual and linguistic eye; initiative; marketing knowledge; and channel and platform understanding. You'll be in demand and you'll thrive on it.

You're just what we need to create a world richer in nature and we can't wait to hear from you.

This role is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. You will be asked to declare unspent convictions and cautions at offer of employment stage.
