I am currently working with a premium sporting brand based in Harlow, Essex. As the Marketing Manager you will be responsible for leading a small marketing function for the planning and execution of the global marketing strategy using the entire marketing mix. This will cover areas such as events, partnerships, sponsorship, advertising (paid and organic), traditional media and social media. My client has recently expanded their product offering by launching a spin-off budget brand and you will play a significant role in how this new range will be promoted and positioned in the market. The team is small so this will be a hands-on role. The ideal person for this position loves the combination of strategy and getting into the nitty-gritty with their team and colleagues. You will be an excellent communicator, incredibly organised and able to build great relationships across the business and ensure commercial and creative success. Key to success in this role will be the ability to set priorities, provide consistency and make clear and insightful strategic decisions which help drive the achievement of business objectives. Ideally you will have hands-on experience at a small to medium sized organisation with product based marketing. Key Duties include: * Managing all marketing for the company and activities within the marketing department * Developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives. * Co-ordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities. * Overseeing the company's marketing budget. * Briefing, creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans. * Planning and implementing promotional campaigns (both digital and traditional). * Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results. * Overall responsibility for brand management and identity * Preparing online and print marketing campaigns. * Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications, including monthly marketing reports * Working closely with design/media buying and website agencies * Leading launch strategy for new product launches. * Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives. * Analysing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing. * Devising the yearly marketing strategy * Budget management * Responsible for all external and internal communications including packaging descriptions, press releases, product descriptions and more
