Opportunity to work 2 days/week from home

Exciting and challenging opportunity for smart, talented shopper marketer to bring their drive, energy, commercial savvy and creativity to this exciting role with a leading player in the food industry, building retail presence and shopper engagement for a brand that already has a huge presence in store and a home in almost every single kitchen cupboard! Supported by a shopper exec, you will work closely with key retail customers to develop and execute effective and innovative joint marketing and promotional initiatives, building impact at the POS with bespoke display and merchandising materials. With a huge business commitment to ramp up its shopper activity, this is your chance to own the strategy and growth programme, achieving early wins and building your profile in a dynamic, positive and friendly culture that embraces flexible working.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing the shopper marketing roadmap aligned to category and brand marketing plans
  • Developing and executing effective shopper marketing plans with key retailers
  • Oversee the communication of POS material for retail merchandisers
  • Working with agencies to create & deliver POS and shopper media assets
  • Driving shopper Insight understanding and implementation internally and externally
  • Developing robust processes to monitor the ROI of shopper spend
  • Managing and coaching a Shopper Marketing Executive
Skills & Experience Checklist
  • Robust shopper or customer marketing experience gained in a leading FMCG environment
  • Commercial savvy and retail understanding ideally gained in category, trade or sales roles
  • Excellent communication and project management/organisational skills
  • Strong team player with a can-do attitude and drive for achievement
  • Confident and capable of operating at all levels - a good team player
