Your new role will see you have an incredibly varied day-to-day duties. You will work with local teams and partners to create and deliver a community engagement strategy responding to local issues. You will also be helping to improve and drive the use of digital and social media channels within local areas, both internally and by the public. This will coincide with having to identify, implement and improve new methods of public engagement. What you'll need to succeed You should have excellent writing skills in line with a proven ability to plan, prioritise and implement communications activity through completion and evaluation. You need to have strong stakeholder management skills, which will aid you in developing relationships at a local level in order to identify community engagement opportunities. You will also need to have have professional experience of using social media to reach target audiences and an enthusiasm for exploring new communication channels and methods of engagement.
