The Fix are on the hunt for a MW/Senior Artworker to join our client,a leading independent and integrated communications agency.

They arecommitted to getting their clients customers to engage with their brands through timely and relevant communications and through the most relevant channels - by developing ideas and creativity that brings to life their client's properties to deliver innovative and effective campaigns.

The Artworker role:
  • They believe in building creative teams that develop stand out ideas for our clients
  • A Mid-weight/ Senior Creative Artworker is a hands-on role and you will be required to produce artwork assets for print and/or build for all clients
  • As a Mid-weight/ Senior Creative Artworker, you will need to be used to working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment across multiple projects for high profile theatrical, entertainment, FMCG, Music and Sports brand clients
  • The role of a Mid-weight/ Senior Creative Artworker is to work closely with the Leader Senior Creative Artworker and the Creative Services Team, as well as the wider creative team to ensure they all play an active part in the development and delivery of the agency's artwork outputs
  • As a Mid-weight/ Senior Creative Artworker you will produce artwork for print ready artwork across different platforms to include: FMCG, POS, OOH, Home entertainment and static digital graphics across all client projects
  • A Mid-weight/ Senior Creative Artworker will also work closely with all other agency departments and client agencies to help deliver any digital and 360 creative campaigns or creative development requirements
  • You will also be given the opportunity to work on new business initiatives as and when required.
Key Responsibilities of the Creative Artworker:

A mid weight/ Senior Creative Artworker will work with Lead Senior Creative Artworker, the wider creative team and Account Teams to deliver artwork assets for client presentation and final print deployment and to be totally committed to delivering the proposition

A Mid-weight/ Senior Creative Artworker will continually optimise their utilisation at all times by working closely with Head of Artwork and the Creative Services to ensure always maximises its efficiency and profitability
  • Key responsibilities
  • As a Mid-weight/ Senior Creative Artworker on the Artwork team, you will
    • Create print ready artwork for multi project reproduction, using your good understanding of:
    • Creative artworking
    • Design interpretation
    • Accurate and correct artworking from visuals
    • Retouching
    • Repro separations
    • Working to retailer and client brand guidelines
    • Working to and manipulating cad cutter
    • Demonstrate an understanding in print production techniques, and would be an advantage to have a keen understanding of problem solving this area
    • Take and interpret briefs, juggling a wide range of jobs without compromising on output
    • Manage all assets systematically and efficiently, and encourage optimised filing and efficiency
    • Actively promote the profile of the artwork team within the business, and positively represent that team at all times
    • Understand and deliver within strict brand guidelines for all client artwork projects.
    Experience and Knowledge of the successful Creative Artworker:
    • At least 2+ years' experience working as a Creative Artworker, ideally with experience working on film brands
    • Proven track record of working in a creative production team
    • Experience of working in a below the line or integrated agency environment - on and offline - with proven examples across integrated, shopper and digital marketing channels
    • Experience in the delivery of artwork for OOH, Press, POS, Packaging and Digital
    • Strong artwork production skill set - Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite proficient with InDesign, photoshop and illustrator (ability to use PowerPoint/Keynote is an advantage) A passion for bringing the creative concept team and designer's ideas to life - and advising them in any best practice to facilitate the process
    • Understanding of design and HTML coding for digital communication an advantage
    • A passion for producing artwork to help deliver great design, illustration, photography and typography solutions in all artwork projects
    • Previous client contact is an advantage
    • Strong IT skills (MS Office, PowerPoint) with expert Mac skills and good knowledge of PC
