Internal Communications Manager
Your new company Hays are currently working in partnership with a leading insurance provider based in West London to recruit an internal communications manager on a temp basis, 6 months, £350 - £400 per day. Your new role In your new role you will create, manage and develop an effective and engaging communications framework across a variety of different areas within Operations, supporting the Heads of Department to embed structured and compelling communication plans within their operational area. Acting as an ambassador for excellent communication and engagement, you will work with the operational areas to understand their key people challenges, including how we communicate with our front line teams and teams across other areas to drive change and build effective working relationships You will also be responsible for ensuring that the businesses communications with customers are appropriate, clear and in line with our purpose to be #1 for customers, you will create and embed a sustainable customer communications governance strategy across UKI Operations, ensuring that the front line teams are supported with ad-hoc email and letter writing framework, and that our system-generated communications remain on brand and customer focused. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed you will fit the below criteria: * Proven experience in communications ideally within an FCA regulated environment and within a large, customer focussed, multi-level organisation * ***Solid experience in creating and executing internal communication and customer communication strategies and managing executive communications*** * Robust strategic thinking, curious, analytical, creative, and with excellent organisational skills * Experience in working as an expert resource within cross-functional business change projects with tight deadlines * Fluency in English and meticulous attention to spelling and grammar, reflected in high quality outputs * Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, organisational skills * Excellent writing skills - must be able to communicate clearly and have the ability to make complex information understandable and relevant to a variety of different audiences * Strong MS office skills * Be a relationship builder, confident in supporting and constructively challenging stakeholders at all levels * You will bring energy, drive and initiative to bring UKI Ops communications to life so teamwork and collaboration is essential What you'll get in return In return you will receive a day rate of £350 - £400 per day.
