The Fix creative are looking for an experienced Production Directorto join and lead a top 10 creative agency in London.

About the Production Director role:

The successful candidate for the Production Director role will have experience of collaborating with clients and internal teams and managing direct reports in terms of workload and personal development. The role requires gravitas - you'll need to drive and champion the quality of creative delivery, both externally and across internal teams, in order to drive client advocacy.

The Production team are responsible for the delivery of all the design work that leaves our studio, ensuring this meets the high standards that our clients have come to appreciate and expect. The Production Director will work closely with the designers, account management team, our clients and external suppliers, the Production team will help provide the technical knowledge and problem-solving ability to deliver all projects, no matter what the deliverables may be.

The Production Director will oversee all the projects within the studio to ensure that projects are running smoothly and any potential issues are picked up and sorted as early as possible. As well as managing the technical support for their own brands, the Production Director will provide guidance to the rest of the Production team, ensuring you are always available.

As part of the wider role, the Production Director works with the wider studio to aid the smooth running of projects from start to release. Not only would you need to provide the general feasibility report of any designs which are shared with the client, but also work with the teams to determine the best way to approach certain projects and how we can deliver the work in the most cost and time effective manner.

Responsibilities of the Production Director:
  • Providedirection and set the standard for the rest of the team to follow.
  • Understand the client's needs, acting as a source of knowledge and resource for best practices.
  • Develop, manage and nurture the team to perform at the highest level.
  • Ensure that the production team works efficiently and effectively to deliver technical input to the day-to-day running of projects.
  • Work positively and effectively with other departments across the business in delivering work to the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with the other Heads of teams in Creative Operations (Head of Visualising, Head of Artwork, Head of Realisation, Head of Retouching) in order to work effectively as part of the wider team.
Requirementsof the successful Production Director candidate:
  • Confidence in dealing with clients and suppliers
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team
  • Print production knowledge
  • Knowledge of multiple packaging production techniques
  • Knowledge of website, app development and events production an advantage
