An exciting opportunity for a Social Media Executive with a proven track record in commercially valuable Social Media strategy and execution.

Client Details

My client is a service organisation that produces standards across a wide variety of industry sectors. Its codes of practice and specifications cover management and technical subjects ranging from business continuity management to quality requirements. They effectively help business to trade both successfully and within the standards of the law.


As the Social Media Executive, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: * Working with Senior Marketing Managers develop a co-ordinated social media strategy for Knowledge Solutions * Working with the sales and marketing teams develop and embed a strategy to engage the sale team and maximise the use of LinkedIn Sales Navigator * Planning and executing campaigns that dovetail and support key marketing, PR and sales campaigns * Working with the Knowledge Solutions Ecommerce team this role will support the launch campaigns for new standards across multiple markets to multiple audiences * Working with the Knowledge Solutions Subscriptions teams this role will support lead generation campaigns across multiple markets to multiple audiences * Working with the Knowledge Solutions Services teams this role will support lead generation campaigns for our standards consultancy products across multiple markets to multiple audiences * Evaluating, measuring and analysing social marketing campaigns and their effectiveness utilizing social analytics and integrated measurement techniques * Adapting and experimenting with social channels, messaging, and content based upon analytics from previous campaigns * Communicating outcomes of campaigns and trends within marketing channels * Sharing industry insights or new social trends


Some key traits of the successful candidate will include but not be limited to: * Graduate with post graduate marketing qualification desirable (e.g. CIM) * A proven track record in a similar social role, planning, creating and optimising paid for and organic social media campaigns * Ideally some experience in Social Listening * Exampled experience of building communities on social platforms * Strong attention to detail * Strong customer oriented ethic with ability to respond to customer queries directly and monitor conversations about the brand * Ability to analyse data and derive meaning from it * Knowledge of media strategy and how social media can be integrated into the communications mix * An eye for marketable content and the ability to identify the 'story' around a product * An active user and advocate of social media with experience in developing or managing social strategy using one or more of the following is advantageous: * Hootsuite (or similar tool) * YouTube * LinkedIn - with Sales Navigator experience advantageous * Twitter * Facebook * Experience in the following is a bonus but not essential * Google suite of products * Salesforce * Pardot * Experience working with social influencers * A true passion for all things digital with knowledge of digital marketing current best practice and understanding of digital product processes * Strong time-management and the ability to develop working relationships with colleagues at all levels of the business * Proactive and results orientated, with the ability to balance multiple projects and spontaneous marketing opportunities that may arise * Familiar with setting clear campaign goals then measuring and adapting against that * Excellent communications skills (both verbal and written), and confident in writing, editing and crafting content for social media

Job Offer

On offer for the successful candidate: £25-28K per annum dependent on experience + Benefits
