My client, has created a new Deputy Marketing Manager role which offers an opportunity to enhance your marketing and student recruitment experience within a high-performing, central marketing and communications service. If you have the full marketing mix within higher education then please get in touch! You will create and deliver first-class marketing services for the education brand, to drive attraction and recruitment, enhance reputation and profile, and proactively contribute to the business performance Key Responsibilities: To lead on the delivery of the marketing operational plans Provide regular competitor analysis and marketing performance reporting to the Head of Marketing Provide operational marketing and communications advice to colleagues to support the development of their business priorities Through regular evaluation and analysis, optimise the plan to maximise return on investment Develop an internal and external events strategy and manage the planning, delivery and evaluation of company events To undertake and coordinate the provision of market intelligence to provide insights into market conditions, pricing, portfolio development, competitor activity and customer behaviour Undertake regular competitor scanning and analysis to benchmark our activity against competitors Develop new processes and systems to provide robust data Deliver creative, proactive and efficient marketing services to support business units To oversee all marketing / advertising collateral and ensure that all advertising opportunities are researched, adequately assessed and evaluated, including leveraging new technologies Work with external agencies to plan mixed media campaigns Provide regular competitor analysis and marketing performance reporting to the Head of Marketing Maintain, review and update the website with clear, engaging and accessible material consistent with company's key messages Undertake and coordinate the provision of market intelligence to provide insights into market conditions, pricing, portfolio development, competitor activity and customer behaviour Undertake regular competitor scanning and analysis to benchmark our activity against competitors Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow Be a role model for the organisation, demonstrating the organisation's leadership values at all times and being an advocate for cultural change Marketing ROI, Reporting and Analytics Evidence impact of all marketing and communications activity with a specific focus on ROI Key Requirements: Experience of the full marketing mix within Higher Education is essential Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in a marketing or related subject Significant experience in a marketing role with experience of developing and delivering marketing and communication operational plans Experience of recruitment marketing Experience of managing internal/external client relationships Understanding digital channels, media plans, outdoor and radio experience Experience of brand management Experience of delivering marketing collateral to an exceptionally high standard Successful experience of working with a range of media, new technologies, to raise sales performance and reputational performance Company Benefits: Salary £30k Flexible hours 37.5 hour week Pension 25 days holiday + 8 days Car park Canteen on site
