This is an exciting role which will see you owning and directing the development of strategic, insight led, brand plans setting the future direction for the brands within the Haircare portfolio.

A leading FMCG company with offices based in Central London.


As Marketing Manager your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following: * Ensure deep understanding of consumer needs and behaviours within the categories your brands operate it to create actionable consumer insights. * Market trend analysis to identify and guide future opportunities for your brands. * Work with Marketing Director in setting and agreeing strategic priorities for your brand's growth. * Ensure the development and approval of annual brand plans for your portfolio that will deliver the strategies and objectives with a robust programme of activities. * Overall P&L responsibility. * Ensure tight budget monitoring and control and timely submissions within the monthly finance process. * Work with the NPD Manager to create the vision for the growth of your brand(s), ranges based on a sound understanding of the brand, market and consumer opportunities. * Ensure close working with NPD and R&D in the identification of new product concepts that address commercial opportunities for your brands, and maintain the innovation funnel for the next 3+ years * Oversee the development of powerful communications, across all disciplines, that deliver short term targets and the long-term building of your brands. * Ensure the development of inspiring briefs for the creative and media agencies * Work closely with the agencies to create communications ideas that drive the desired objectives for your brands founded on key consumer insights. * Ensure our agency partners create robust plans and execute them across the relevant media channels to connect effectively and efficiently with our consumers. Ensuring work is delivered on time and on budget * Work closely with Sales and Customer Marketing to drive synergy across all channels to maximise ROI and ensure timely communication to stakeholders and customers.


As Marketing Manager you will be able to demonstrate the below skillset and attributes: * Graduate with a good degree * Postgraduate business and/or marketing qualifications preferred * Significant marketing career with FMCG/CPG brands * Able to create and manage substantial A&P programmes across all disciplines (ATL, BTL and digital/social) * Impeccable communication and presentation skills * Analytically minded - financial and market research/data * Additional European languages desirable but not essential * Advanced at Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint * Driving licence
