Our opportunity:
This is a key role within my client in developing our understanding of customer behaviour. Based in Crawly 3/4 days a week the successful candidate will be an analytical and strategic thinker who will take ownership of collecting business critical requirements, analysing vast amounts of customer data, and visualising the findings to increase campaign effectiveness and support commercial decision making across the business. This role reports into the Customer Insight Manager.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;
You will be drawing insightful analysis from a vast amount of data, with clear actions and keen eye for detail, communicating your recommendations to a wide audience including the senior management team.
The role will span across both B2C and B2B channels.

  • Track customer and commercial KPIs, identify the underlying cause of KPI movements and its impact to business through developing dashboards and conducting deep-dive analysis.
  • Conduct analysis into customer cohorts across their lifecycle to understand customer behaviour and needs.
  • Deliver actionable insights to the business to drive data-driven commercial decision making.

This is a key role within the CRM department so the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders through accurate data and clear recommendations is essential.

Who is the right person for this role?
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye and strong interest in data analysis to make a real impact within my client.

  • Degree in numerical field (e.g. statistics, economics, mathematics)
  • Highly skilled in analysing large datasets using Excel, SQL and data mining tool (e.g. SPSS Modeler)
  • Experience in data visualisation (e.g. Power BI)
  • A strong communicator, who can present complex data clearly to senior managers (data storytelling)
  • Proven ability to make commercial impact with data-driven insights
  • Able to work autonomously, in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
