One of the largest professional services firms in the world is looking for an established senior hospitality event and sponsorship professional to join the Client Experience team within its internal Sales and marketing function on a 6-12 month fixed term contract maternity cover basis. The corporate hospitality programme provides high quality relationship building opportunities for the business through a diverse range of events and memberships. The firm's corporate sponsorships enables the building of relationships with clients and key stakeholders, contributing to the communities the firm operates in, developing the firm's people and reinforcing the firm's brand. The Head of Corporate Hospitality & Sponsorship will be responsible for strategically overseeing the corporate hospitality programme ensuring alignment with the sales and marketing and client experience strategy to deliver tangible value and return on investment from all activity. This will include planning and delivering a range of hospitality events, including Wimbledon, RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Goodwood and The Old Vic performance receptions. The successful candidate will manage hospitality memberships to ensure utilisation of benefits and the existing sponsorship programme which currently includes, The Old Vic, Wellbeing of Women and CSC Leaders. You will be expected to forge strong partnerships with sponsorship organisations and maximise opportunities to activate the firm's involvement and improve return on investment. You will work closely with the brand team to identify sponsorship opportunities which fit the firm's brand, to negotiate sponsorship packages if necessary and to manage the current sponsorship programme to ensure each sponsorship is fully activated. The role holder will also be responsible for ROI reporting for all corporate hospitality and sponsorship activity. The role includes liaison with both internal and external clients to ensure that activity is run appropriate to the objectives set and in line with the requirements of the Sales and Marketing leadership. You will be located in London, with the need to be on site at events, including internal office locations and external venues, as and when. Some travel may be involved, as well as irregular hours. The role provides an opportunity to work across all lines of service and industries as well as to collaborate with a range of staff. In this role, the successful candidate will line manage the Corporate Hospitality & Sponsorship team, including one Manager and two Executives. The Head of Corporate Hospitality & Sponsorship will be of graduate calibre must possess excellent organisational, influencing and communication skills in order to be credible and to be able to challenge stakeholders as well as delivering a highly successful hospitality and sponsorship programme. Excellent event and project management skills are required as is a developing track record in managing a corporate hospitality and sponsorship programme.
