This role is responsible for leading the communication of the business narrative, in order to deepen motivation and commitment across the region and foster a feeling of 'one team'.

* Create and manage an annual calendar ensuring key events, activities and initiatives are clearly communicated to the European associate population * Create a strong measurement culture to demonstrate the clear impact of internal communication activities across the region * Coordinate with business divisions and branches to ensure they're internal communications requirements are met * Lead the development of quarterly digital 'Challenge' magazine, working with an external agency * Responsibility for the development and delivery of fortnightly 'Challenge Update' email communication, Monthly 'Compass' sales figures reports and regular Motorsport updates within the racing season. Delivery includes the creation of translated contents, supported by Honda's translation agency. * Create a strong network of contacts within branches in order to create communications that transmit philosophy and commitment to its vision * Amplify key communications and announcements * Act as a key support to representatives in to facilitate the cascade of key corporate messaging * Project manage the creation of film and written internal communication contents from key external events such as Motor Show, motorcycle show and key events through the selling season for power products division * Be Motor Europe's voice within the global internal communications group * Work with Section Manager to ensure adherence to budgets for internal communication activities


* Experience of working in a communications team preferable * Excellent written and editing skills - journalistic background would be preferable, but not vital * Strong understanding of the creation of impactful written content to communicate to an internal audience * A passion for creating compelling visual content, with the ability to inspire external teams to create great work * Project planning, management and logistics skills, an eye for detail * Creativity and entrepreneurial spirit * Comfortable with managing stakeholder input from a wide variety of sources and levels within the business, and create strong positive relationships. * Understanding of wider context of the Corporate Communication division sits in * A grasp of key business concepts in order to communicate Honda's vision for its European business * Fluency in European languages other than English is a bonus
