Client Details

Well, a fairly unique best of both proposition. They are an established but rapidly expanding brand that's had a disruptive influence on the market with its emphasis on renewable energy. They're backed by one of the biggest brands in the world but, in its current guise, is something of a scale-up looking to expand their offering to a growing customer-base. This proposition has been 2 years in the making - they've got some rich data but are investing heavily to conntinue profiling, trargeting and converting their audience.


The Senior Insight Analyst is responsible for delivering the insight required to drive the commercial marketing stategy. Supporting the business in its customer acquisition and retention and everything in between through in depth insight converting that into actionable intel for delivery teams to utilise. The ability to be a data storyteller will be the bedrock for decisions that support the businesses commercial goals. If that wasn't enough, you'll also be shaping customer segmentation strategies, acting as a bridge between the business and the data and insights teams ensuring models are continuously improving and obtaining better outcomes. Key responsibilities include: * Owning the technical delivery of insights that inform Sales, Product and Marketing teams and help them focus on what's important to grow CLV (customer lifetime value) * Performance reporting alongside the development deep-dive analysis on core strategic topics. * Assist in the management of supporting analytics agencies in their production and scaling of big data sets, and the development of advance analytics queries that help us mine them for insight. * Provide direction on data design and modelling to in-house data teams * Identify and enhance any customer segments or moments of truth * Strong business acumen with an ability to break down problems and translate into a data led solution * Work closely with product owners to understand plans and make recommendations on how to drive performance * Make recommendations on how to combat competitor activity


With already large and rich data in place, this newly-created role is part of a commitment to more proactive usage that should inform the direction the businesses is heading in. Whilst it's essential that the Senior Insight Analysts is capable of turning data into insights, what will really set you apart is the ability to turn those insights into compelling recommendations to senior stakeholders. You'll be an expert using online analytic tools (adobe analytics/google analytics), comfortable will analysing the customer journey in a data-driven b2c environment. This isn't so much about tenure but a passion for putting online analytics at the heart of commercial decisions.
