Senior Manager, Product - Payments
My client is an extremely successful and fast growing payments technology business. They've consistently grown at 20% YoY and now have 700 staff across the globe. The company is seeking to appoint a senior product manager who will play a lead role in building their proposition roadmap over the next few years. First and foremost, they are looking for a particular type of person who can thrive in this organisation. They must be smart, creative, persistent, curious and commercial. They believe so strongly in the problem to be solved, and the commercial opportunity to be exploited, that they always find a way. They are the type of person who is constantly questioning and know that "there is always a better way" - whether that's how a customer's process works or how to solve a problem. In addition, they will be the product champion throughout the lifecycle of the product family and will become an expert in the features, benefits and capacities of the portfolio, using inputs from customer, the market, and business teams by creating and delivering compelling business offerings, supported with clear definition and messaging to drive business sales and financial results. This role is based in London with occasional regional and international travel, but they're willing to offer a lot of flexibility to the right candidate - this position is much more about what you deliver than where you deliver it! The organisation have a great track record of nurturing and developing their staff and, in an ideal world, this candidate would be seen as the long term successor to the head of department. With the business' continued growth, there will also be lateral opportunities for the right person.
