PR & Internal Communications Manager | Housing Association | £43,000 | South Manchester Your new company A reputable housing association based in south Manchester are seeking to recruit a PR and Internal Communications Manager on a full time permanent basis. Your new role You will manage the delivery and development of the PR and Communications Plan, ensuring tactics achieve desired goals, while managing proactive and reactive press coverage opportunities for the company's brands and its Leadership team. You will produce PR content for both B2B and B2C press where relevant, and oversee content production for outreach, working with the Content Manager. As PR and Internal Communications Manager, you will build and maintain solid relationships with media outlets and journalists in key media positions, engaging with key internal and external stakeholders to maintain a consistent and accurate flow of content. Additionally, you will support with relevant content and stakeholder management at meetings, events and conferences, and develop a new internal communications approach and a strong narrative based on the corporate objectives. What you'll need to succeed The most successful candidate will have strong experience of working at pace, managing multiple brands, preferably with some experience in an agency environment, or working as a Journalist. You will have considerable experience of managing a PR and Communications Plan and driving success, with strong communication skills and an ability to influence at all levels of the organisation. As an individual you will have excellent news sense, writing and editing skills, and a familiarity with media databases, forward features and press request tools such as Kantar and Cision. Finally, you will have proven experience in setting strategic communications plans and delivering these effectively through a variety of channels, using engaging and creative content at all times.
