The Marketing Executive will oversee day to day marketing activities, providing support to the Marketing Manager across a diverse range of marketing related activities.

Description

The Marketing Executive reports into the Marketing Manager, working flexibly within the commercial team to build rapport, confidence and trust. Responsibilities include: * Planning, developing and implementing effective marketing communication campaigns. These include digital marketing, eshots, corporate literature, events and other targeted marketing activity. * Writing copy for marketing collateral, including brochures, news stories, emails and website. * Understanding the product and customer profile and write thorough specs for each. * Undertaking detailed ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure targets are met. * Monitoring ongoing campaign spend against the budget, producing an accurate summary of total spend at the end of a marketing campaign. * Keeping abreast of the competitor market. * Developing the digital strategy, including the creation of engaging content across Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. * The production of artwork, sourcing images, print buying and proofreading. * Being an ambassador of the company's brand guidelines, ensuring all templates and campaigns adhere to the brand guidelines.

Profile

Ideal successful Marketing Executive candidate * Ambitious and hardworking. * Degree in Marketing would be an advantage, as would a CIM qualification. * Previous experience in a similar marketing role. * Strong project management/organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, problem solve and manage multiple projects. * High level of attention to detail. * Excellent verbal communication and written skills with copy accuracy. * A self-motivated, proactive and confident team player. * Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines. * Fully competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Experience of CRM systems, WordPress, Mail Chimp, InDesign and HubSpot would be an advantage, however not essential. Training and guidance can be provided.
