This is a new role as an Event Marketing Assistant with a Global Business Leader.

Client Details

Our client are an absolute giant in their field and are looking to improve their events programme. This role will focus on the marketing of their specialist Events.

Description

The Event Marketing Assistant will take responsibility for the following activity: * Delivering the commercial events revenue and delegate numbers. * Plan, prioritise and execute effective event campaigns to deliver delegate numbers and revenue for premium commercial and non-commercial events utilising the full marketing mix with a strong emphasis on digital marketing. * Work with key external and internal stakeholders to ensure all channels are effectively optimised to produce the best results with the most effective spend. * Create marketing materials and content to help successfully market each event. * Manage the campaign schedule with Senior Marketing Manager to ensure that campaigns are executed within the agreed time and budget, delivering maximise impact * Working with the Senior Marketing Manager to ensure that key information is identified and provided at an appropriate time to conduct effective campaigns e.g. target audience, message development, and value proposition. * Work with the social media executive and the Group Marketing social media team to promote events where relevant across social channel. * Work closely with Senior Marketing Manager to identify new channels, techniques or tools which allow you to enhance your campaigns or experiment with new initiatives. * Use the relevant marketing tools e.g. Pardot, EpiServer, Google Analytics, Sales Force and other marketing tools and systems to plan, execute and measure the effectiveness of marketing activities. * Update and maintain digital marketing content across multiple channels which include website, shop, email and social media. * Understand success of campaign activity through robust measurement and reporting. Evaluating, their effectiveness using web analytics and offline integrated measurement. Adapting and experimenting with marketing channels, messaging, content and offers based upon analytics from previous campaigns. * Share insights or new trends in marketing channels with the marketing team gathered from staying close to the industry or from Group Marketing.

Profile

The candidate that secures this Events Marketing position will bring the following skills and attributes to the role: * A proven track record in events/conference marketing, campaign management and digital marketing. * Strong time-management, organisational and prioritisation skills coupled with the ability to develop great working relationships with colleagues across the business. * Proactive and results orientated, with the ability to balance multiple projects and spontaneous marketing opportunities that may arise. * Experience of the full range of marketing channels is desirable with strong emphasis on digital and social channels. * Experience using Pardot. Salesforce are an advantage * Familiar with setting clear goals for a campaign then measuring against them. * YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE AT SHORT NOTICE
