Working in a dynamic, fast-paced but quite relaxed and team'y environment, you'll develop the brand and marketing strategy for a truly fabulous brand, targeted at discerning consumers in markets across the world.

Our client is an award winning producer and leader in its category, with a brand available only in premium retail outlets and fine bars and restaurants. It continues to show impressive growth and is investing in building the team to step-change the growth in the UK and international markets.

Working alongside the Head of Marketing and supported by a Trade Marketing Manager and team of 4 brand ambassadors in the field, you'll take on a broad remit, managing the brand positioning, pricing strategy, P&L and activity across the mix; developing strategic and tactical plans to activate the brand, building marketing partnerships, experiential events and carefully targeted communications and digital initiatives. You will work closely with the sales team, and set clear goals for the brand ambassadors, helping them in their mission to build brand advocacy with the trade and consumers. You will also take on day-to-day responsibility for the internal design team.

To meet the challenges of this role, you will have a track record of marketing achievement and hands-on luxury brand experience, almost certainly with leading wine or spirits brands, but perhaps in other categories too. You will have strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to develop a clear business case, secure buy-in and build a strategy that drives results. Above all, you will have an intuitive understanding of consumer motivations and drivers, ensuring that marketing activity hits the mark and reflects the quality of the brand.
