Marketing Executive Permanent Position | Sports Business | Leigh | £25,000 - £28,000 Your new company You will be working for an international sports retail company who provide personalised sportswear and equipment across a wide range of sports including rugby, football, hockey and netball. This company are seeking a Marketing Executive on a full time permanent basis. Your new role The Marketing Executive is responsible for developing and implementing campaigns to promote the range of products and apparel offered by the business. You will support a creative, integrated multi-channel marketing department that builds brand awareness and reputation, providing a flow of sales leads and measuring the return on marketing investment. Additionally, implementing the marketing strategy and plan for the Sales Team to grow sales in key sports markets in England, Scotland and Wales, and involving stakeholders at key stages of the marketing campaigns and reporting results to them. You will work with in-house designers to produce materials with impact and within brand guidelines, and manage the production of marketing materials such as leaflets, flyers, posters and newsletters. You will do some work off site in the form of conferences and exhibitions in target market sectors, and will effectively monitor competitor activity and share key data with the Sales Team. Experience in social media content marketing will also prove beneficial in this role. What you'll need to succeed You will have proven experience as a professional Marketing Executive, with a strong digital background, and have experience within a similar industry eg sports/retail. An excellent knowledge of GDPR and how to implement campaigns within the new regulations, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will boast relevant b2b marketing experience and expert knowledge of effectively developing and implementing marketing strategies and plans. As an individual you will be customer focused with a strong desire to deliver exceptional customer service, and be both well organised and goal orientated. For this role, it is also essential that you drive and have access to a vehicle for business use, and be willing to travel for events and to the other office location in Somerset and manufacturing facilities in Northern Ireland and Dublin.
