Lead the marketing activity for the business. You will be responsible for delivery of the overarching marketing strategy for all software solutions in the company portfolio across all territories.

The key responsibilities for the Head of Marketing will be: Primary role will be to work with the Marketing Director and key business stakeholders to ensure timely creation, and implementation of the overarching marketing strategy, you will also be required to take marketing responsibility for implementation of plans or projects, whilst working with an extended team to support in formulating and implementing individual marketing plans that integrate with and support the overarching marketing strategy What you will do: * Working alongside the business Sales Director and key stakeholders relevant to company, to help them understand and define the longer-term strategic direction of their business * Provide business strategy/business planning support including commissioning of research, competitor analysis and knowledge share, providing analysis and support for the yearly business planning process * Managing, coaching and mentoring 1 direct report, a Marketing Executive * Monthly financial management and marketing activity reporting * Running workshops with business stakeholders both to support a joined up, buy-in of marketing approaches and to ensure facilitation of knowledge share and a consensus on direction and methods of travel * Accountability for financial planning, forecasting and relationship of spend to return on investment. Ensuring the marketing budgets are accurately forecast, spent and measured appropriately during the course of the year.


The experience need for the Head of Marketing: * Experience within the utilities sector would be an advantage * Strong people and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels * Solid understanding of marketing principles and excellent project management skills * People management experience, with the ability to coach and develop the team * Travel and overnight stays are a part of this position, as is the flexibility to work longer or alternative hours on occasions, therefore flexibility is key. * Full driving licence
