The Events Officer will own all aspects of the planning and delivery of all internal events for the organisation. You will ensure a positive culture and high engagement throughout the company and deliver each event within budget and on time, ensuring continued success of previous events.

Description

The key responsibilities for the Events Officer include: * Play a key role within the Marketing and Communications team which will see you use your initiative and really go that extra mile when planning and delivering the organisation's corporate internal events * Reporting to the Senior Internal Communications Officer, you will own all aspects of the planning and delivery of each event ensuring you stay within budget and deliver on time whilst building on the success of previous events * Organising and executing full communications plans through a range of different internal channels for each event * Day to day coordination of activities and events on behalf of the Internal Communications team * Development, production and delivery of events from proposal right up to delivery, on time and within budget * Supporting with or owning the delivery of events on the day

Profile

The successful candidate for the Events Officer will be: * Well organised, structured and a driven individual who has a good track record of owning and leading events. * Strong written skills and good communication skills * Creative - able to think of new ideas for events * Autonomous but also capable of working within a team * There may be some travel involved to other office locations and support events so you must hold a full UK driver's license
