Media Relations Officer based in London paying circa £31,500 Your new company A charity that work with doctors, employers, educators and patients to achieve high standards of care. Your new role To safeguard and promote the work and reputation in the media, raising and managing its profile to ensure coverage of the organisation is balanced and well-informed. To contribute, as part of a team, towards the efficient operation of the media relations function to ensure the organisation provides a high quality service to journalists, broadcasters and internal stakeholders. What you'll need to succeed * Proven experience of working across a broad range of broadcast, print and online media. * Proven experience of developing, delivering and evaluating the effectiveness of media plans - incorporating key messages, tactics and target outlets. * Proven experience of 'selling in' news stories to the media. * Proven experience of monitoring and interpreting social media activity, suggesting suitable responses and ways to join the conversation. A digital first perspective when approaching story announcements is essential.
