Digital Communications Officer £27,000 per annum Central London Our client is an award-winning think tank and research institute, who provide high-quality, policy-relevant analysis and commentary on economic and social policies. This role is ideally suited to a Digital Communications specialist keen to work for an organisation that makes a real difference to people's lives through promoting well-designed and effective economic and social policies. The organisation has a wide remit and covers important topic such as health, public finances, retirement, consumer behaviour, inequality and poverty. About the role: * The Digital Communications Officer will play a vital role in increasing the impact of the organisation's work in commentary and analysis. * Acting as part of their goal to develop and improve online and publications presence, you will drive impact and reach for mainly digital and some offline publications. * Managing the production and design for key marketing channels, platforms and publications. * Managing and developing the website and project-specific microsites. * Tracking the digital publications schedule, ensuring that the research and communications teams are kept updated and that outputs are optimised for UX, accessibility and performance across platforms and channels. * Communicating success metrics and analytics internally and using it to improve digital communications materials - e.g. newsletters, web pages, social media and promotional materials. * Supporting wider digital communications activities and providing input, assistance and insight to promote academic work, membership, recruitment and events. * Producing e-newsletters and updates for stakeholders and staff. * Providing marketing support for events, membership and recruitment. * Ensuring internal and external branding is consistent and presented to the highest standards across all platforms. * Assisting in the production of marketing materials such as posters, brochures, events flyers and recruitment materials. * Curating, creating and managing website content, including video and infographics. * Daily management of Google AdWords. * Assisting in the delivery of social media strategy. About you: * A detailed understanding of social media marketing and digital communications. * Experienced in producing digital content, including video. * Use of Desktop Publishing packages including InDesign. * Experience within the not-for-profit or charity sector. * Experience of working with CMS, Google Analytics and other web management suites.
