They believe in innovation and the constant evolution of technology to meet market demands, and with that in mind we are partnering to recruit the job of Head of Marketing to join the UK business. Your new role As Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the Marketing strategy for the UK & Ireland business. You will provide leadership and guidance to the UK marketing team, working to ensure that all initiatives achieve maximum ROI, are executed within budget and aligned to the strategic business objectives. The representation of the brand, both via ATL and BTL channels, is vital to both your job and the business; ensuring consistency of look and feel, as well as tone of voice. You will provide both hands-on and strategic ownership of the marketing plan, remaining in-touch with execution to undertake responsibilities yourself whilst nurturing the team. You will create and manage the brand's marketing plan across all channels; Digital, Brand, Retail. This will including building relevant media plans through key ATL media (e.g. Online, Radio, Print, OOH, etc), whilst executing ATL campaigns at BTL levels with retailers by coordinating in-store and online activities, promotions, ensuring impact and evaluating the ROI of each initiative.You will work in collaboration with both Global and EMEA marcomms teams to execute and localise marketing campaigns for UK & Ireland market; representing the marcoms voice for UK and Ireland when discussing European marketing initiatives. This role will require an element of Global Travel - predominantly to European countries but annual trips to the US will also be required. What you'll need to succeed As a Head of Marketing, you will need to utilise your experience in marketing communications, ideally within retail, sports, or consumer electronics. You will have experience with all forms of marketing functions - ATL, BTL, online (including social media), PR, events - and you'll be a strategic, yet practical thinker; you will be required to create top-level Marketing plans, and yet be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to assist and encourage the team will best-practice execution. For this, you will also need a good understanding of marketing trends, particularly within a B2C market. Necessary skills will also include proven Project Management experience, strong presentation & Budget Management skills, and previous experience of managing direct reports. Your people skills will be key to your success in this role, as developing and encouraging the team is paramount, as is your ability to work with, engage and inform key stakeholders. What you'll get in return You will receive a salary circa £55,000 - £65,000 plus benefits including rising annual leave, pension scheme, private medical, a staff Product Loan, and a Group Life Assurance Plan.
