An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced events specialist to join the dynamic Sales & Marketing team of an international legal practice based in their London office. Reporting to the Events Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning and implementation of the firm's events programme, ensuring it is in line with the firm's strategic priorities and demonstrates maximum return on investment. Specifically, you will provide support to the Events Manager in delivering the UK events programme and in the preparation of management information behind these events. The Events Executive will take ownership of some of the firms in-house events across the firm's London, Bristol and Reading offices, acting as the project co-ordinator from taking initial brief, agreeing objectives and preparing a cost estimate, through to timely follow up with delegates, providing feedback and recording ROI. The successful applicant will be required to build strong working relationships, including building visibility internally and becoming a key point of contact for events and also maintaining a network of core, quality external suppliers. You will have the opportunity to work across a range of client and internal events including, but not limited to, in-house seminars and conferences, off-site private dinners, drinks receptions, parties, corporate hospitality and webinars. Although this role is based in London, the firm are looking for someone who is happy to travel to our other UK offices when needed, and has the flexibility to attend early morning and evening events. Professional, enthusiastic, self-motivated and outgoing, the Events Executive must have a proven background working within a legal or professional services environment in a similar role. Excellent project management, time management and organisation skills and a pro-active, flexible approach to work and the willingness to go the extra mile to do a great job are all essential.
