A fantastic opportunity for an immediately available Marketing and Communications Manager to join a leading membership organisation in Bermondsey About the brand They are an industry leading membership body, who are going through a period of change and rapid growth at the moment. About you You will be a switched on marketing and communications professional with a proven track record of implementing effective communications strategies. In addition, you will also possess:- * Excellent oral and written communications in English, able to produce concise copy for online and offline use * PR and media relations expertise to effectively write, position and recognise opportunities * A flair for using digital channels and technology to deliver marketing objectives * Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels * Microsoft competency levels: Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word About the role This will be an initial 3 month temp contract with a strong possibility to go permanent. Reporting into the Marketing & Communications Director, you will be responsible for implementing and shaping the organisation's communications strategy. You will also be tasked with:- * Managing their PR agency to develop and deliver a regular flow of proactive press releases * Developing and managing a content plan to raise awareness of their brand * Analysing and reporting on external communications activity, media coverage and achievements to contribute to business performance * Providing digital communications through website, email and social media strategy * Analysing digital marketing metrics to identify opportunities and implement a programme of continuous improvement * Maintaining an internal communications plan to ensure clear, consistent and engaging communication * Managing the production, editorial content and distribution of the monthly internal newsletter * Championing the use of intranet and work with colleagues to keep content high quality and up-to-date.
