An excellent opportunity for an Internal Communications Business Partner to join an exciting team within a large Services business based in Reading

Client Details

My client is a large utilities business based in Reading


The Internal Communications Business Partner will have the following responsibilities; * You will take a lead role in evolving the way we communicate with our people. * Leading a small a small team to develop and deliver outstanding communications and effective campaigns for a number of business units. * You will be a business partner to the Director of Customer Experience, becoming their trusted advisor and a vital member of their leadership communities. * You will provide communications advice to senior managers and project teams; plan and deliver measurable communication campaigns; manage local events, and make sure the customer is at the heart of everything that we do. * You'll own local communications strategies and a number of cross-company campaigns to make sure we reach our people in the right way, so they feel ownership of the business and drive the exciting changes being made. * Your team will deliver engaging employee and corporate events, workshops and conferences and large-scale and smaller function-based events. * You will also create brilliant measurable two-way campaigns that will help to drive performance and engagement across the business and play a major part in the success of the organisation


The successful Internal Communications Business Partner should have the following skillset; * An understanding of the power of internal communications to drive change and engagement and assist a company in achieving its objectives. * You will need to have extensive internal communications experience, with a focus on business partnering and engagement. * Ability to work with senior stakeholders and capable of calmly influencing a range of decision-makers. * You will be working alongside internal communications colleagues and a proven collaborative approach is non-negotiable. * Ideally, you'll have experience in leading and developing communications teams, planning work and getting the best out of your team * Previous experience of delivering engaging communications in a contact centre environment would be an advantage. * You'll have a strong background in managing campaigns and measuring their success. * You will have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and be able to write compelling, accurate and concise material for a range of internal audiences. You will have a good track-record of developing and delivering communications plans. * * You'll be digitally savvy and open to using new technology as part of our comms approach. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes and Sharepoint and email content systems like Poppulo is preferred and experience in producing video and online content would be an advantage.

Job Offer

My client is offering the successful candidate a salary of up to £55000 on a 9- 12 month Fixed term contract- they would also be open to candidates who would prefer to be paid on an equivalent daily rate.
