Business Development Manager position with a top law firm to be based out of the Manchester or Birmingham office. This role will focus on supporting the Corporate team for a leading Law firm. You will be working closely with the Partners and Associates to understand their business objectives and assist the in meeting those goals. That will involve building stronger understanding of the target market, improving the quality of the leads that are coming in and working with the bid team to ensure the best possible submission goes in, based on genuine knowledge of the client requirements, and then working to further those ties with the client team. You will be working to raise the profile of the firm and the team via use of appropriate marketing material through a variety of platforms on and off line. In order to be a successful applicant you will need to have worked in a BD role within a professional services (Law or Accountancy) organisation before. You will ideally have a strong knowledge, and experience of, creating winning bids and have the confidence and gravitas to influence and build a rapport with the legal partners.
