Internal Communications Channel Manager - Charity- East London Your new company This charity, based in East London, protects and supports the UK's most vulnerable children and young people and have been doing so for over 100 years - becoming the pre-eminent children's charity in the UK and one of the best known globally. Your new role Under the guidance of a passionate new Head of Communications, they are now in the process of creating engaging platforms for their staff - a new intranet while also offering access to Facebook Workplace so that they can bring the employee community of 8,500 staff and 22,000 volunteers together under one communications umbrella. As such they are looking for an experienced Internal Communications Channel Manager to create a strategy for engaging content for the masses.You will lead the design and development, using the data available, of content on both the intranet and Workplace. What you'll need to succeed Here's the experience you'll need: Experience of channel management at a large company, be it private or public sector. Demonstrable experience of online content development. You will also have strong experience in using metrics and user feedback to refine the inspiring content you produce. You will of course have excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills and the ability to work autonomously. A bonus would be experience of running and managing training programs.
