Privately owned business with some ambitious growth plans based near Holywell looking for a Marketing Director to lead their team and drive growth


Reporting directly into the MD, the Marketing Director will take responsibility for the brand and the entire national marketing strategy from research and planning to execution and analysis, including full P&L responsibility and growth objectives. Accountable for the strategic plan implementation for the business. The role includes a wide range of leadership and growth-related activities which are outlined below: Primary Responsibilities: Develop and implement the brand strategy Demonstrate leadership in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the company's mission of executing market growth plans to organically drive top-line revenue. Develop working models of sales and marketing strategies to be implemented by various key management groups and personnel. Work with the executive team on the future strategic vision. Conduct customer, brand and product research initiatives, identifying the company's target audience and analysis of sales and marketing activities Offer expert advice to develop innovative advertising, public relations, social media and events Grow brand (and product) awareness via targeted marketing strategies and develop the brand appeal to access additional market sectors and work with the technical and executive team to expand the product line and thereafter throughout introduction and implementation of new products. Drive improvement in the current customer journey and in the marketing and sales processes, increasing sales and marketing performance and increasing profit margins. Improve the look and feel of the current customer communications and focus on a digital customer journey. Oversee the operation, content, opportunities and development of the website and social media strategy and activities. Prepare an operating budget and ensure the marketing team remain within budgetary targets. Negotiate with media partners to guarantee advantageous terms and value for money Manage the Marketing team and work closely with the Sales team on brand initiatives and achievement of overall growth objectives Lead in the sourcing and recruiting of new talent whilst also developing current employees through the opportunity for promotion against targeted metrics, performance appraisal and develop a succession plan


The successful Marketing Director would be based 5 days / week at the head office in Holywell and have: 1 Previous experience in marketing planning and managing a marketing team 2 Proven marketing campaign and brand experience 3 Experience with digital marketing including social media and content marketing 4 P&L responsibility 5 Efficient time-management and multitasking skills 6 High competency in managing projects and multiple stakeholders 7 Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills 8 Analytical and creative thinking 9 Customer orientated approach 10 A flexible approach to change management

Job Offer

£70k - £80k + car
